Ms. Kenney’s 2nd grade class chose to work on a car design project to address a specific community need. Specific examples of services were moving homeless shelters, express delivery trucks, and Rainbow cars. Each student followed a design process of drawing and modeling their ideas. One model of a bumble bee pollinator car was built to scale using recycled cardboard for presentation in an end of year exhibition.
